‘CRAWLEY ASTRO – Members Meeting’ We take the opportunity each year to hold a Members Meeting in which we encourage some of our members to talk, for 20 minutes, on an interesting Astro-related topic. This year is no exception and we have talks from each of Stephen Avery, Kabir Jami and Axel Stoeller-Rambault. Their topics respectively are: Setting up one’s own observatory; Using a mirror flip device to simplify telescope usage and setup; StarLab Upgrades towards providing Electronically Automated Astronomy (EAA).
We will ‘top and tail’ these talks with our usual Introductions, Society and other Astro News and the Sky Diary.
We think these talks will make for a fascinating evening and we hope you will enjoy it! THE SPEAKERS Stephen Avery, Kabir Jami and Axel Stoeller-Rambault – all are very experienced astronomers with many years of practical and theoretical knowledge in the construction and use of automated observatories.
